Why are the CIA and the FAA ignoring the threat posed by terrorists?

In the weeks since the attacks in Paris, we’ve seen a series of stories in the press about the CIA’s inability to stop terrorist attacks and the TSA’s inability or unwillingness to protect Americans from terrorists.

But while the government’s ability to detect and thwart terrorist plots is increasingly becoming an issue, the reality is that the government is largely ignoring that threat.
