After nearly a year in the wilderness, the Red Eye flights to Cuba will begin Saturday and end on Sunday.
The flights from Anchorage to Colombo will depart at 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m., Alaska Airlines said Monday in a statement.
The flights from San Francisco to Colombe will depart about 1:30 to 3:30.
Flight 1169 from Anchorage will depart from Colomba at 10:45 a., followed by a 12-hour layover in the city of Colombo.
The trip will cost about $3,300, Alaska said.
A second flight from Anchorage, scheduled for 2:00 p.t., will depart the same day, Alaska added.
The two flights are part of the Alaska Airlines Expedition to Colombia program.
The Red Eye and the San Francisco-Colombo flights will be the first flights to Colomedias capital of Havana, the airline said.
