Chicago Blackhawks forward Duncan Keith said the team will be ready to fly to Chicago if the weather permits, according to a statement from the team on Monday.
“As always, we will do everything possible to prepare our players for the trip to Chicago,” Keith said.
“We know that the weather will be favorable and we’ll be flying on our best equipment and in the best conditions, with the utmost respect for the Blackhawks organization.”
Chicago’s Millennium Stadium seats more than 10,000.
Keith, who is on a six-game contract, said he plans to be there in Chicago on Wednesday.
Keith said on Sunday that he was planning on coming back to Chicago.
The Blackhawks are in a tie for first place in the Metropolitan Division and face the St. Louis Blues in the final round of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
